Interview with Ernesto Marquez, Part 1, 2 & 3

Ernesto Marquez was raised in Des Montes / Arroyo Seco New Mexico. Ernie is part of  Padre Jesus de Nazareno Arroyo Seco La Morada de Nuestra Soledad. Ernie’s Grandfather, Gabriel Marquez Senior, was also part of the Arroyo Seco Morada de Nuestra Soledad. Ernie is also a member of Grupo Mezcal, an award winning and touring band based in Taos NM.  Grupo Mezcal was formed around 1983.

  1. Thank you Ernie Marquez for a well done interview for the rest of us who come from Arroyo Seco. I enjoyed listening to all three parts, your home grown faith taught from parents well known in Seco. Followed by your music. Your back ground growing up is traditional and cultural de la familia siempre. It’s the most beautiful thing that fuels and impacts our lives as an example of our parents teachings in who we are and where we come from. The roots of that family tree!
